Cocoa Butter This is a solid butter expressed from the roasted seed of the cocoa bean, of the Cacao tree (Theobroma Cacao). Cocoa butter contains about 5IU of Vitamin E per ounce and natural antioxidants and is a water repellent. Cocoa butter provides a barrier to help retain and restore moisture and improve the skin elasticity. As it is quite hard it is recommended to melt in a bowl over boiling water and adding other butters and oils to keep it soft and easier to apply to the skin, but it can be applied on its own. Suggest use levels Lotions & creams 3-5%, Balms 5-100%, Bar soaps 3-6%, Conditioners 2-5%
